batmon.app software package provides Battery monitor for GNUstep, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install batmon.app
batmon.app is installed in your system.
Make ensure the batmon.app package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep batmon.app *
You will get with batmon.app package name, version, architecture and description in a table
